El Toro, Mexico

Endeavour acquired the El Toro property by staking in 2006. It is located in the Suchil District of Durango State, 100 km southeast of Durango City, near the border with Zacatecas State and is 5,392 hectares (13,323 acres) in size.

A few small, historic mines are located in the El Toro area. These mines produced only a minor amount of silver and Endeavour considers the opportunity excellent for discovery of a new mine.

Since staking the property, geological mapping and sampling by Endeavour crews have discovered seven veins on El Toro. Samples have returned high grade values for silver, lead and zinc, similar to other mines in the nearby Chalchihuites, Sombrerete and Fresnillo districts.

In 2010, Endeavour commenced a detailed trenching program on the El Toro property. The trenches will provide valuable information for a Phase 1 drill program planned for the property.
